The Venue

A full-scale spatial design project transforming a space (auditorium, lounge, lobby hybrid) that was previously for the church's student ministry into a cohesive branded environment. I led creative direction and designed the majority of the space - from concept and type manipulation to environmental mockups and final installations.

I led creative direction and designed the majority of the space - from concept and type manipulation to environmental mockups and final installations.

DESIGNING FOR THIS SPACE INCLUDED

  • Working with Ben Howes (howesdesignservice.com) to develop initial wordmarks and moodboards

  • Manipulating type and designing wallpapers with Hope Villers (hopetwila.designs)

  • Working alongside Dominic Stacer (stacermedia) to develop a 5 hour looped animation on the lobby monitor

  • Creating and perfecting the final wall vinyl designs in illustrator.

CREATIVE DIRECTION FOR THIS SPACE INCLUDED

  • Coming up with concept, inspiration, and direction for the space.

  • Evaluating and mocking up the wallpapers, wall paint and wall vinyl designs in the room (The walls were mocked up with 5 different styles before determine this route).

  • Ensuring the dimensions for every letter in order to be installed correctly.

  • Overseeing the printing and installation of wallpaper and vinyl
